Paula Troxler
Paula Troxler is a Swiss poster artist and daughter of illustrator Niklaus Troxler. She has won many prizes in various international festivals, she makes most of her posters and illustrations by hand. Never lacking inspiration, she has continued for two years to meet the challenge of publishing one original illustration on her website for each day of the year. I love her hand drawn style as I think it achieves an aesthetic that is so much more emotive that vector or photographic images. I like the range of processes and styles she uses, but they all still have an over arching signature style. Her posters are image heavy, but integrated with type as part of the design which I think works really well.
