Initial type designs

I started this brief by gathering together a broad range of regional expressions which I gatherered from friends and colleagues from different parts of the British Isles, as well as internet research for the ones that I couldn't source first hand.

I then created pieces of illustrated type in styles that I felt reflected the tone of voice of the piece.  I have chosen light hearted friendly expressions to suit the tone of voice of the brief.
