David Pearson is a London based designer specialising in design for books and branding. He is probably best known for his work for Penguin books, which is why I am looking at him specifically as I am doing the Penguin/Puffin book cover design brief as one of my illustration briefs.
I like the way that he uses type or illustration or a combination of the two, always depending on what is the most appropriate for the book. This is a consideration I will need to take when choosing which book I want to design for.
